By the numbers...

0 - the amount of seconds that I was able to breath comfortably today. Damn cold. All of my colds tend to go this way.. they start with a sore throat, and end with a complete inability to breath through my nose. I've tried sudafed, I've tried mucinex D, I've tried nasal spray. NOTHING WORKS.

1 hour, 45 minutes - the amount of time it took me to get to work this morning, due to this accident on the highway. Might I add that I moved approximately 3 miles in this 1 hour and 45 minute period.

5 hours - The amount of time it took the darn meteorologists to cancel the winter weather watch.

The National Weather Service on Tuesday afternoon cancelled winter weather advisories that had been issued for several areas

They called for snow between 10 am and 4 pm. They finally cancelled it at 4 pm after not a single snow flake.

Have you tried Afrin Severe Congestion? It may take 3 sprays on each side, but I swear by it. And get hooked on it, often. But it rocks.

I actually bought that about two days ago! In fact, it's the only thing that even slightly works. However, the 3 sprays weren't lasting 12 hours. To be honest, I've been taking one spray in each nostril every 3 hours. According to the box i'm ODing.. but I'm trying not to worry about it. It's the only thing that is working so far.

Do you stick by the 12 hour rule?
