Another Wrap-Up

I thought that I had pulled a muscle or pinched a nerve about three weeks ago. The day after I jumped back on the C25K bandwagon, I woke up with some pretty serious muscle pain on the right side of my back and butt.

Fast forward three weeks and my lower back and butt continue to hurt, with the new addition of hamstring and calf pain. The lower leg hurts a lot less than my back and butt, and is more of a radiating, burning pain rather than a sore muscle.

Anyways, I've been putting off calling the doctor because a). I've been in there so much lately I don't want her to write Hypochondriac on my file and b). I was hoping that it would go away on it's own. Really, it hurts the most when I wake up in the morning and when I go to bed at night but this is getting seriously annoying.

Additionally, I'm not sure what the heck it could be.

This past weekend was a fabulous one because boyfriend threw me a birthday party at our local crab shack and bar. It was a beautiful day and the outside bar was open right on the dock. My mom, dad, aunt, uncle, 3 cousins, and my brother and sister came down to celebrate with dinner and drinks.

After dinner, the older adults and little kids left and some really great friends joined us for some more drinks and some more partying.

It was an amazing time and we shut down the place. After the bar closed, we all headed back to our apartment for some porch time and a little Mario Kart.

I was so happy that my brother and sister came up for the event, and that so many of my friends rallied for me and joined me on my special day.

Present time resulted in a new tennis shirt and balls (from Mari), a shirt from Ann Taylor Loft (that I really, really wanted) from Laurie and Bill, a gift certificate to buy even more cute things from Jaime and Ron and a subscription to Cat Fancy from Noelle. Isn't she hysterical? ha.

My mom and dad also brought me a present from my godmother. It was the most perfect Coach purse--- one that I've been wanting for two years now, but never told anyone about. It's the white Hampton's tote, and I'm in love.

I have a ton of pictures from the party, but I'm not sure if my friends want their faces plastered to my blog.

To hold you over.. here's me and my drunk boyfriend.

And one of my brother, his girlfriend, me and my sister.
