Fall Swap! Part One...

As some of you may know, I participated in a Fall Swap, hosted by Running Just as Fast as I Can. I had so much fun shopping for my partner. Although the partners were picked randomly, I was paired up with Nora from Vineyard Girl. Amazingly, Nora and I have a lot in common. We're both from Massachusetts (or at least I was), we both spent summers on Martha's Vineyard (I spent all four college summers there), and I'm a school psychologist and she's a guidance counselor. Last but not least, we're both HUGE fans of Halloween--It was like shopping for myself.

Because her blog is private, I thought that I would share the pictures that she took of the gift that she received from me on my blog.

Because I work in a school, I'm a die cut fanatic and I cut about 10-15 leaves in assorted fall colors. After cutting them, I laminated them so that she could use them again if necessary.

Here's a picture of all of the goodies that I sent to her. I included this message with the package:

Fall Swap
A Halloween Treat- Adorn your table with something that screams fall and that your guests will enjoy.
Unique Fall Drinks- Wrap yourself up in a blanket and indulge in some wonderful fall flavors, such as cinnamon apple and caramel.
The Book of Bright Ideas- While sipping away at your new drinks, enjoy a heartwarming book full of bright ideas and that will remind you of the summer.
Underwater Adventure Toys- This package is coming straight from the Chesapeake, where crabs and sailboats are the norm. These new toys are perfect for your pretty kitty!
Monogrammed Stationary- Perfect fall colors and a must have for every preppy girl.
Neat New Kitchen Supplies- A magnet for your fridge and a pumpkin cutting board that is perfect for fall entertaining.
Enjoy! ~ Ashley

Basically, I purchased a lot of fall goodies including fall flavored tea, caramel hot chocolate, a pumpkin shaped cutting board, orange monogrammed stationary, kitty toys, a book, a "how am I feeling?" magnet for her fridge (a must have for all student services employees), Halloween shaped cookie cutters, and Halloween sprinkles

Here's a picture of her pretty kitty enjoying her new crab toy!

I can't wait to do this again! I hope that you enjoyed your gifts, Nora!
