Halloween Weekend!

What a weekend! As you all know, I love Halloween and we celebrated quite hard.

On Friday night, Boyfriend and I suited up and headed out for a night on the town with some friends. We hit up a local bar, drank too much, and had a fabulous time. Here's a picture of our costume on Friday night. We changed it up a tiny bit for the party on Saturday (which you will see below).

On Saturday, we slept late, recovered and headed down to my parents' house for their annual Halloween Party. While there, we got to meet their newest dog, Zuri. My parents are now the proud parents of 3 dalmatians. Sammy, who we've had for years, Lil' T who was adopted from a dalmatian rescue and the newest, Zuri. Poor Zuri was hit by a car and her owners didn't want to take care of her. She has a long road ahead of her and needs to go to the vet 3 times a week to work on her leg. She's come a long way and she's absolutely adorable.

Boyfriend wanted in on the fun as well!

After hanging with Zuri and the family, we got dressed up and ready for my parents' Halloween Party. That night we added fake blood to my neck and the corsages. I actually made the corsages and our sashes. A little red paint completed the package. For boyfriend's costume, we picked up an old suit at goodwill, slashed it to pieces and covered it in blood. They came out fabulously.

Me and my sister, the German Girl

My parents go all out- Unfortunately, the fog machine makes it hard to see, but here are some of the decorations..

More Decor...

Boyfriend and I at the end of the night. We won the scariest costume, but my parents may have been biased.

This morning, we woke up to this sweet girl (my mom painted our back porch, I wish I were half as crafty as she is).

Today we rushed home and hosted dinner for Boyfriend's family. They had yet to visit our new apartment. We had a pot roast cook off (boyfriend cooked one, I cooked the other) and hung out.
I am absolutely beat to say the least.

I've got to rally too, we're going to the Pittsburgh game tomorrow! GOOO STEELERS!
