Another Train Wreck

I am actually really surprised that no one else is blogging about this.

I can't contain myself any longer.

That mom of octuplets, Nadya Sulman is really, really, really pissing me off.

First of all, she has six kids already and lives with her mother. She cannot even take care of herself let alone her preexisting children.

Secondly, She has not worked for TEN years. She has been on disability and food stamps since an accident at work.

Interesting, considering the fact that she most certainly appears to have had plastic surgery-- I wonder where that money came from?

Also interesting is the fact that she is so disabled that she can't sit at a desk all day, but she's not so disabled that she can't have EIGHT freakin' kids growing inside her.

I've never had a baby, but I see mothers of one having difficulty during pregnancy- it's absolutely shocking to think that a "disabled" person could carry 8.

Whoever let this disabled woman, who already survives on food stamps, disability checks and lives with her freakin' parents have in vitro fertilization should be fired immediately and his medical degree should be revoked.

Who paid for her in vitro? I PERSONALLY know people that struggle to have children-- who can't have them on their own (and that are successful and hold jobs)-- yet they can BARELY afford in vitro fertilization. This lady has managed to do so with every single one of her children?!?!?!? Something isn't adding up.

Really, it baffles me.

What pisses me off even more is the fact that she's getting so much publicity. An article on MSNBC noted that she's received hundreds of book and television deals. That makes me absolutely sick. I will never endorse or support anything about this woman.

She made her own bed, she decided to go ahead and be a single mother raising 14 kids on her own. I don't think we need to make her the next John and Kate Plus Eight and virtually hand her a 1.3 million dollar house.

Why is it that hardworking people like myself can barely get by, but the world is willing to shell out money, support, and houses to stupid people?

Rant over.

Can you tell that I am royally pissed about this lady?

What bothers (and scares) me is that she is not waiting at all between children. I think she should see how it goes with the other kids-maybe wait until they are out of diapers!

I'm with you. It's scary that this woman has 8 kids and scarier still how fascinated people are by this and willing to "help." I think the only reason she did this was for the "help," and not for the love of children. (Or maybe, in her mind, the two are one and the same. 6 kids is not sensational enough to make a living off of, but 8 is!)

I completely agree with you. It also pisses me off that she says she loves children and that's why she kept having kids and wanted more babies or whatever. But does she really think she can give those kids the love and support of a great mother when there are so many AND when she is out doing interviews, getting her nails done, and doing whatever other publicity stunts she likely has up her sleeve? UGH
