The Movie

Okay, I promise that I'll stop talking about Twilight so much, but I watched the movie last night.

I got a little pissed every once in awhile and shouted out, "Hey, that didn't happen like that in the book" (fiance quickly shushed me), but it wasn't a terrible movie.

My only real complaint was that it lacked the passion that I imagined when I was reading the book. Where was the couple that couldn't keep their hands off of each other and were so in love? I don't really qualify staring at each other with teen angst similarly to how I would qualify passion.

Agreed. But, I don't know that what we read and imagined could ever be completely recreated on-screen. For instance, Edward's sparkling wasn't exactly how I had pictured it. ;)

I know how you feel. I was the same way when I first saw the movie.

Books are always better. I think it is because we let our imagination run wild ...

But it is still a favorite.

That's what I have heard, so it really makes me not want to watch the movie. I am afraid it would ruin the feeling I got from the book.

I watched the movie last night for the first time and really enjoyed it. I knew it wasn't going to be exactly like the book, but the direction was awesome. My only complaint was that I wanted to see Carlisle's office and hear his story.
