1234 New House Drive

I know that I've been a little MIA. I've been all wrapped up with new house (picking out paint takes time people) stuff.

Buying a house is like taking your own emotional roller coaster ride. You're up, you're down, you have no clue what's happening. You also wait a lot. A whole lot.

We had our inspection on Sunday and I was super psyched to get back into the house---- Until we learned that the roof sucks, and it is leaking, and just plain old $hitty.

We spent the next few days wondering if they would accept our request to have the entire roof redone.

Yesterday, we found out that they are fixing the roof. Phew, at least I don't need to worry about that for the next 20ish years.

That is great news that they're fixing the roof. They can be very costly. I remember how stressed I was when we were buying our house. I was a mess up until settlement and I had keys in hand. I am just a worrier!

You're headed in the right direction and soon it will be your house :)

That's so great that they are taking care of the roof...those are really expensive to replace. We got screwed on the heating/ac when we moved into our house. It worked when we moved in, then died a month later and the warranty wouldn't pay for it. We had to pay a ton of money to get a new one...which sucked big time! I can't wait to see pics of your house and the paint colors you pick out. I'll try to take some pics of mine this weekend and post...I have to remove a layer of cat hair first :)!

NICE! That's awesome. Roofs are always something I worry about with our house. We probably need to get ours repaired/replaced sometime in the next few years . . . yikes!!
