A wee bit MIA

...but with good excuses....

I'm trying to enjoy what's left of this summer.

I'm one of those. Those that mourn the loss of summer (and the passage of time in general) before it's even over.

Instead, I'm trying to live it.

By live-- I mean relax, spend too much time in the sun, and a little too much time spent enjoying a beer with friends at 5pm.

Our wedding is in less than 3 months. I'm about ready to freak out. I've held up pretty well, but I'm getting more and more anxious as the days go by. Is this normal? I keep thinking that I'm forgetting to do something huge. I just don't know what.

John's car is about to die. We may trade in his junker/clunker whatever the stimulus plan is called for a new car. It's not in the budget, but the boy can't ride his bike to D.C. everyday.

We went to the jeweler and ordered our wedding bands! We're both very excited about that.

The fiance and I had our housewarming party on Saturday (we made cupcakes and cookie/brownies in case you were wondering) and we think that it was a success. We spent time with people we see often and those that we don't see often enough.

I'm SO excited for you that your wedding is 3 months away:) I think it is normal to be nervous and what is so funny is once it is over you will be like "Why in the world was I so nervous about that?!" Don't stress...really no one will notice if you forget something or if something goes wrong but you!

It is so exciting when it gets so close. Just remember to take some time to breathe and enjoy it!

Good for you for getting out there and enjoying your summer! I wish that were my excuse for being MIA, instead of just being up to ::here:: with schoolwork!

There's so much exciting business going on with your pre-wedding life--I think a little anxiety is totally normal! And again, it seems like you're doing a pretty good job of sitting back and enjoying the ride, too!

You are down to the wire on the wedding date. Review your checklist, then sit back and relax! Enjoy your self this summer!

Totally normal. The wedding planning lull is over, and now you're back into the crazy part. Even though it made me nuts, I did like the checklist on theknot.com -- helped me reassure myself that I really wasn't forgetting anything.

I feel like you this summer. I looked up the other day and said, "It's July? Really? The end of July?" Six days until my 28th birthday, and about eleven weeks until my due date. Eleven weeks! That's like ... a really, really short time. What the heck am I supposed to do with a HUMAN BABY?
