My Eats 4/19 and Other Things

I know that I was M.I.A. with the food diary this past weekend, but I generally take my weekends off (a girl has to live, right?).

I spent this weekend in New York City, so my diet wasn't particularly great. It included a few beers, steak, burgers and a lot of fries.

My mother-in-law and my sisters-in-law invited me to join them on a trip to NYC to see Wicked. We had a blast! Although Wicked won't be making an appearance on my favorite Broadway musicals list, it was fun to see.

Now, onto the eats... My diet was really random today. I'm either suffering from a terrible cold or terrible allergies so nothing sounded especially great. Claritin isn't even working. Ugh.

Breakfast:
The usual cereal mix: 2 points
Coffee with nondairy creamer: 1 point

Snack:
Ranch flavored rice cakes- 2 points

Lunch:

Crab soup: 2 points
Rosemary and olive oil pretzels: 2 points
Orange: 1 points

Snack:

Weight Watchers chocolate cake snack- 1 point
This cake was AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAMAZING. I'll be the first to admit when a diet food sucks, but this tasted better than real cake. It's a new favorite.

Dinner:

1 cup of assorted veggies with soy sauce- 0 points
1/2 cup whole wheat pasta- 2 point s
1 cup strawberries- 1 point
1 cup purple grapes- 1 point

Snack:
100 Calorie Hostess Lemon Cakes (I'm on a cake kick today): 1 point

Total: 16, which leaves me with about 6 points.

All of that actually looks delicious! Especially those cakes :)

I LOVE that someone else is blogging about WW too. :) I will take any yummy ideas I can find!

PS - I recently discovered those chocolate cakes too. YUMMY!

I'm going to have to try the WW chocolate cakes! The hostess lemon cakes were gross to me, very dry!
