Dear Younger Version of Me,

Dear Younger Version of Me,

Although Tufts University was a good education and 15% fun (it was graduate school) you probably should have gone to a much cheaper state school for your masters and C.A.G.S.

Why?

Because then you wouldn't owe Tufts a trillion bajillion dollars despite receiving a pretty heft scholarship.

The children that I work with can barely read "Hop on Pop," nevermind a diploma. In fact, I'm not even sure that they know what a diploma is.

Damn it. I got served.

Love,
An Older, Wiser You

* Sorry for all the money posts but I've recently dragged my husband to a thirteen week financial peace course. It's on our (ahem my) mind.

I feel the same way about my student loans!

I pay my student loan online each month and I always look at the balance. I swear it's been around $11,000 for the past five years. I hate interest. But, I do love having a master's degree... the teaching salary schedule is rewarding me with it each year.
