Lazy Girl

This may make me sound really lazy but I really hate when people don't allow their entire post to be read in google reader.

I know that they probably want me to click over to their blog so that they can get credit/keep tally of website hits, but I'm actually too lazy to actually do so.

99% of the time, I "un"follow these people.

I feel guilty about it and I had to get that out there. I may feel guilty, but not guilty enough to click over. Does anyone else have this problem?

yes! I know one woman who does it because people have been stealing her blog posts, but I don't like the ones I can't read in reader. I just don't have the time or patience to click over.

I used to do the same thing but if it's a blog from a person who's been a loyal follower and commenter on my blog then I don't mind returning the favor and clicking over.

I still rock it old school and read blogs through my dashboard so I can't commiserate with you and goolge reader woes! Does sound kinda stupid...but since I have to click on every blog they way I do it now, it probably wouldn't bug me too much.

YES! If I can't read your whole thing- I WILL unfollow. I can't be opening and closing tabs all over the place.

(ps- total extra credit if you know the comedian who says: "You know I could go for a sandwich, but uh, I’m not gonna open TWO jars! I can’t be opening and closing all kinds of jars... cleaning, who KNOWS how many knives!?")

If mine doesn't show up in google reader- I'll tackle it first, then punch it in the face, and then figure out how to fix it.

Um, yep. I think it is so annoying and self-serving. Who gets that wrapped up in how many hits their blog has a day??? Good Lord, step away from the computer and find another way to inflate your ego.

I only have 2 people I follow that choose to do this. It drives me insane.

Hmm... Yeah, I don't even know how to use "reader". Never tried, so I don't know anything about if my blog shows up "full" or not.
Hahahaha!
I just read the ones I read from links.
I guess I'm behind the times.

I am the same way. In fact, I think it's rude to NOT publish a full feed. Like, get over yourself, I'm not clicking over.

I'm right there with you. It especially bothers me because often I read at work (during lunch, natch!) and can't read the whole thing. Not going to bother following if I can't read it.

You can call me lazy too... man, an extra click - just can't do it. :)

I'm the exact same way - no full feed? Unsubscribe. I have yet to find someone's blog that is so fabulous that I am willing to click through for every post. I often read in public spaces or in class, so I can't be opening up all these blogs. Plus, I want to read what you have to say, not drive your page views and ad $$

Yep, I'm the same way. There are very, very few blogs I'll read if I can't see the whole thing :) Google Reader is the best!
