Reason #23431 why I'm slowly realizing that I'm old.....
When I walk into a classroom to pick up a child for testing or to do an observation, another student ALWAYS asks me if I'm little so and so's mom.
Little so and so can be black, white or asian but it never fails that I'm mistaken for mom. '

Annoying. Real annoying.
I've been hearing more and more that I sound like someone's mom or what I said is what their mom says. Sucks doesn't it?
Ha. I babysat this summer and it was the first time that people actually thought those kids were mine. It really bothered me. So I feel for you.
A little girl in my neighborhood asked me whose mom I was. I said, "uhhh, the dog's." Thanks, kid, now get off my lawn!
haha awww!! That doesn't make you old and should make you feel old silly! Think about when you were little -- everyone was SO much older, even teenagers were WAY older =) Don't be too hard on yourself - it's all about perspective!
Aaahhh yes - someone asked me the other day how many children I have. When I told her none, she said "What're you waiting for". Ummm... I've been married for 2 months lady - thanks.
Also, note to self: I prob. shouldn't wear that dress again I guess if she thought my bod looked like I had kids. LOL
