Anyone, Anyone?

I keep finding holes in all of my cotton clothing-- the count so far is 19 holes (that I've noticed) since December.

Some of the shirts have been around for a year or more, have been washed/worn a million times, but other things have been wash/worn once and still have holes.

There' s a random hole in the arm, a random hole in the sleeve, and none of the holes are on or near seams. It looks like someone/thing just took a hole punch sized bite out of all of our clothing.

Does anyone have any idea what could be happening here?

I've searched the net high and low and every website says that it's either a) caused by a belt or the waistband of pants or b) it's a belly button ring causing the problem.

No, not so in this case.

Help, anyone?

No clue, but I would like to know what is causing those embarrassing little holes that I always manage to put my thumb through...

I've noticed the same thing. I wonder if they are trying to make clothes cheaper... eventually we'll one day have wear once and toss... like everything else.

Hm...I would say moths. Itty bitty teeny tiny little moths in the closet. I was noticing holes in some of my clothes and then we had an exterminator come in for a completely different reason, who pointed out that we had little moths in our closets. He got rid of them, and no more holes. Perfection.

I'm having the same problem, but most of mine are from my belts/pants. The only other thing I can think of is if they're getting caught on something like the agitator in the washing machine. If you have a frontloader that doesn't have one, I have no idea!
