Fab in Feb

If you write a blog, you know all about haters.

Haters are generally the readers that hide behind the computer screen, refresh your blog frequently, and hang on your every word searching for a new piece of ammunition.

Then they'll judge you.

They'll judge you because you are too happy or because you are too sad. They'll judge you because you love your husband, and then they'll judge you for having a husband. They'll judge you for taking pictures of your clothing and make fun of you in a passive aggressive manner. They'll gossip about you to whoever will listen.

"We can never judge the lives of others, because each person knows only their own pain and renunciation. It's one thing to feel that you are on the right path, but it's another to think that yours is the only path."

I do NOT want to be that girl. Do you?

Now, I'm not perfect, but I will make a concerted effort not to judge others, because all research shows that those who judge are always the unhappiest.

I love my life far too much for that.

I have a point:

For February, hopeandthedresscode and aworkingmomscloset are hosting "Fabulous in February." Every Monday in February, they ask us all to name three things that we just love about ourselves.

Not things we are grateful for, but actual reasons why I love being in my body.

Here goes:

1. I love being blonde. It's fun, it's flirty, and when I look in the mirror I see sunshine.

2. I love being 5ft. 4 and a 1/2 inches tall. In my opinion, it's the perfect girly height. I can fit in regular length clothing and I fit perfectly under the crook of my husband's arm.

3. I love my sense of humor. Like Hope, I too can be sarcastic and silly. I'm not against making a fool of myself in public and that just makes life that much more fun. I can't sing well, but I'll sing aloud when I want to. I'm not a professional dancer, but I'll break out a step in the middle of Walmart. Why not? Life rules. I try to enjoy it.

I have a blog hater, it's called my husband's ex-wife... I'm 99.999% sure she found my blog :(.

But this is great and fabulous reasons to love yourself!

I LOVE yours, esp. b/c we have a lot in common (minus the blonde). I'm also exactly 5 4.5 and think it's a great height AND I'm known for breaking out in silly dances at work (or home, or anywhere). I love that you do the same!! :)

You are so fun! I love this idea. I feel the same about my red hair that you do about your blonde. :)

AG and Erin, I always try to reply back to your comments but your emails aren't linked-- you need to get on that :)

No, I wasn't blog bullied online lately-- every time I have been bullied online I'm 99.9% certain that it's someone I know (b/c I have two stat programs on my blog that will tell me the location if I do enough research).

I mostly wrote about haters to encourage others to participate and to tell us what you love about yourselves without being embarrassed that someone (a hater) will judge you for putting it out there.

It's very sad that there are people out there that will waste their time talking about others, and being rude to others, when they need to realize, we don't care anyway. :) I feel sorry for those people! What a sad way to spend their time!
