Ten on Tuesday

Link up to Chelsea's blog if you want to play along!

1. When someone asks you for a book recommendation, what is your go-to book?
Memoirs of a Geisha. I love, love, love that book.

2. Do you buy your books, or are you a library patron?
I almost only get books from the library.  I used to buy them all but I was spending so much money on books that I would read once.  The library is much more economical.

3. E-readers, yay or nay?
I'm not a fan-- unless the library starts allowing me to borrow books via an e-reader.

4. What was your favorite book as a child?
Goodnight Moon

5. If you could be any character in a book, who would you be?
Alice from Twilight

6. What book would you love to see turned into a movie?
The Hunger Games

7. What is your all-time favorite book?
Memoirs of a Geisha or Twilight
8. How many books do you read at once?

9. What is your favorite book genre?
Chick Lit.

10. Which Harry Potter book is the best? Or haven't you read them at all?
I've only read one of them-- the first-- and I did like it.  I should probaby read the rest of them someday.

Oh crap. How could I forget about Memoirs of a Geisha!?!?!?!
Just took it downstairs and put it back on the shelf. Crap.
Oh, maybe I would want to be a character from that book... :::ponders:::
Good call on being Alice, though...

Oooo, I loved Memoirs, but the movie just did not do it justice. Totally disappointing.

I love these questions. I love chic lit too!

Also, I know you follow my blog Cupcake Adventures but I recently changed its url’s (and blog name to Cupcakes and Cardigans) so now the old blog url won’t work. My lack of complex blogging skills did not make me realize this. If you wish to continue following me please follow now at CupcakeandCardigans
(it should update your Blogger Follower and for Google Reader you may need to re-add this site)
Thanks and sorry for the confusion.

Love 10 on Tuesday! I always link up after reading yours. I love to read and I am a book person and not a reader. Happy Tuesday!

I loved Memoirs of a Geisha!

Definitely read the rest of the Harry Potter books. They're all great and well worth it.

The casting news for The Hunger Games is making me very sad. I'm disappointed with all of their choices. I've never read Memoirs of a Geisha. I'll add that to my list.

I'll have to add Memoirs of a Geisha to my reading list....I would not normally have given the book a chance...so thank you.

I still need to read memoirs of a Geisha - I've heard good things from quite a few people.

I would love to be Alice from Twilight too! :)

I pretty much get all of my books from the library too. I don't mind the wait!
