Ten on Tuesday

Link up with Chelsea on her blog.

1. How do you pronounce the word aunt? Does your pronunciation rhyme with ‘haunt’ or ‘can’t'?
I pronounce it how it is spelled. AKA, not ant.

2. Do most of the people in your life know you blog? Or are you partially or totally anonymous?
Good question. I don't really tell people about it often, but I'm not against people reading it. I think that most of the people that I know in real life that read it prefer that I don't know that they read it (Like I've heard by accident, when they were drunk, and/or it was briefly mentioned that they read my blog). Generally the people that comment on my blog posts are random, new blog friends rather than real life friends.

3. When you grocery shop, do you prefer to bag your own groceries or do you like it when the store bags them for you? Paper, plastic, or reusable bags?
If someone competent is working, I prefer that they bag for me. I prefer plastic bags (I know, sue me) b/c they are perfect for cleaning out the litter box.

4. Do you have a green thumb?
Eh. Kind of.

5. If you watch the Food Network, which chef/show host is your favorite?
I like the food network and watch it on the treadmill sometimes (ha, I know right?). I like Giada and although Rachael Ray is super annoying, she cooks interesting things.

6. Do you like to take baths? Do you take them very often?
I haven't taken a bath in at LEAST 6 years. I don't dislike them, but I'm not into cramming myself into my regular sized bathtub.

7. What color are the walls in your kitchen?
They are a very creamy, very light, very white yellow.

8. Do you prefer to dine outdoors or indoors?
As long as the weather is nice I love eating outside! That being said, it's SO much easier to eat inside. Dragging out ketchup, utensils, salad dressing can get a bit annoying.

9. Describe your ideal weather.
75 degrees with 70% humidity. That is the perfect day.

10. If you could learn any foreign language, which would you choose to learn?
At this point, I can barely speak English coherently. Yes, I'm at that point in my pregnancy.

I pronounce Aunt the same way as you do. Hubs says it like "Ant" and it's weird to me!

I hate baths. I'm too tall to fit into a normal tub. I tried to take one during the 3rd tri of my pregnancy and basically didn't fit and almost nothing on me got wet! Not relaxing.

I say aunt like ant. I'm guessing it's because everyone around me says it that way.

I prefer plastic bags too. I throw stinky diapers away in them and use them as liners for our bathroom trash cans.

I say Ant. Pronouncing it the other way is sooo strange to me! HA! It's definitely a regional thing.

Congrats on your pregnancy!
