Birthday Weekend

Thanks for the birthday wishes ya'll.

My 30th was AMAZING!

It was low key, I didn't do anything crazy, but I really enjoyed my day. I woke up on Saturday and walked out to my car to leave for my massage appointment. John walked outside with me with the dog and I was shocked to find that he had a remote car starter installed in my car!!

My top three birthday wishes were a remote car starter (defrost in the winter baby, I can't get my act together in the morning and/or wake up earlier to go outside and scrape the car windshield), a smallish stand up freezer chest to freeze meals and boob milk (seriously, what is my issue?), and a carpet steam cleaner (I know, I'm old as hell). I am super excited about being the proud owner of a remote starter.

After my massage I came home and was hoping to hit the pool, but the weather sucked. Instead, we went to our favorite japanese steak house for some hibachi fun and we did some shopping.

My mom, dad and sister came in the afternoon and we spent the remainder of the day walking around Annapolis, eating dinner at one of my favorite restaurants and eating cake from Coldstone.

On Sunday it was STILL raining, so the hubs and I went to town on the nursery. After a lot of work around the house, we had a lovely dinner out with some of my favorite friends and we get to see more friends and extend the celebration this coming weekend.

I love birthday week!

My only complaint is that the day flew by far too fast. It's crazy how time flies with each year. Am I the only one out there that wishes for a pause button?

Happy Birthday! Is your favorite place to eat in Annapolis? My downtown favorite is Tsunami :)

Oh I with there was a pause button too! I feel bad the weather has sucked so much that you didn't get to go out! It's been raining practically nonstop all week here in Baltimore!

LOVE my remote start! My car is in the garage at home and I start it myself when it's cold, but it's nice to leave school with a warm car too! It works great in the summer to cool off the car too!

No need for a pause button if you celebrate birthday MONTH, which is what I do. But then my b-day is in January when not much else is happening, so numerous celebrations are welcome!
Happy Birthday! 30 rocks.
