Week 26

I'm way behind on the weekly updates.. and I skipped week 25 altogether (picture this: week 25 was JUST LIKE week 26)

Week 26- August 11th-18th

Due Date: November 18, 2011

How Big is Baby: The size of an eggplant!

Symptoms: I'm still feeling great! My feet are officially swollen almost every night now, but I think that has a lot to do with a small injury that I have, seeing as though the right foot is the only one that really swells up.

The pregnancy pees continue to be a pain in the butt. Pregnancy pees go something like this..

la di dah.. I'm walking through the mall.. I don't have to pee at all.

Cute shirt... Ooh

Then, you go and like one ounce comes out. It's not satisfying.

Cravings: Nothing significant

Sleep: Aside from a case of the pregnancy pees at least 1-2 times per night, I'm sleeping like a baby.

I Can't Live Without: The pool. The pool is amazing for the pregnant body. You can't feel your own weight and it reduces swelling. I'm going to cry when the pool closes next weekend.

I Miss: Sitting still for more than half an hour. My butt gets tired.

I am Looking Forward to: The third trimester and another ultrasound on Wednesday!

Milestones: I made it through the hottest months of the year and it wouldn't discourage me from trying another summer pregnancy (and trust me.. I've heard horror stories). Apparently, I can manage heat better than I thought I would.

Also, no news is good news and I don't have gestational diabetes.

Awkward Moments: Nothing!

Exercise: Walking on the treadmill (although baby likes to bounce on my bladder within the first five minutes.. every freakin' time) and prenatal yoga class.

Diet: My diet isn't terrible, but I definitely take advantage of being pregnant and eat more than I usually would. I managed to only gain a pound last month (and that included an entire week on Bethany Beach eating out daily. It's about time that happened.

Movement: He becomes more active every day.. mostly in the early morning and after dinner.

Gender: It's a boy!
